I haven't seen many, but I do like ones with robots in... I think it's labelled as Mecha Anime or something.

From those I have seen, Akira is probably still may favourite. I know, I know... there's no robots in that one.

Cowboy Bebop is definitely my favorite. It's the whole reason I started watching anime in the first place. I also enjoy Fullmetal Alchemist, Trigun, Ninja Scroll, Berserk, and GTO, to name a few.

Gundam by far. Especially 8th MS Team (If you've never seen it you should). Then Hellsing, and Black Lagoon (The one guy drives a 68 Roadrunner).

I would have to say trigun is my favorite

If a child asks how Santa lives forever, simply reply he drinks blood.

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poke me in the ribs and cackle, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started to do the same thing to them at funerals.

If you include anything with the same animation style, I love the American show "The Boodocks." It's the same animation style, but has a rather different feel, but for Japanese anime I'd say Cowboy Bebop. I tried to watch Gundam Wing, but the storyline wasn't to my liking. The crisis suits were, though.

That which doesn't kill me has made a tactical mistake.

Cyber City
Ghost in the Shell (just not the second movie).
Bubblegum Crisis (just not BC2040).

Older: Crusher Joe
Armour Trooper VOTOMS.

Those are all I can tolerate

Trigun and Full Metal Panic are both definite favorites.

But the current top of my list is The Familiar of Zero. Nothing fantastic mind you, it's just the mix of the theme, characters, and style are all just put together in such a way that I find it hard not to like.
