Default The Simpsons

What is your favorite episode of the Simpsons? The longest running cartoon on television has produced some memorable episodes. So which one is your favorite? Mine is the barbeque episode with the flying pig.

*sigh* I have to point out that despite what you see in games, lasrifles win wars. Just because lasrifles suck at killing superhuman killing machines in power armor does not mean that they are bad weapons. You are shooting them at the wrong targets. The most common enemy the Imperium faces is lightly armored humans armed with lasguns or autoguns, NOT SPACE MARINES.

Probably impossible to actually narrow it down 100% however there is a line that makes me cry harder than laughter than any other. Its also from a Halloween episode so it has a good chance of being my fave as most of the Halloween episodes have been pretty good.

Not sure which halloween episode off the top of my head (as in number) but its the one with the Freddy Kruegar/Groundskeeper Willie story. I don't know why but something about Lisa saying ' But bart that means whenever we go to sleep we might die!' and Abe suddenly butts in with 'Welcome to my world' and then immediately falls asleep, just cracks me up everytime.

My favourite episode of the simpsons is the one were I accidentely switched over to watch Family Guy. I find the simpsons lost its humour for me a while back, but my favouraite one is either were homer jumps the gorge or when the kid running the quicky mart puts out the shotgun on the shoplifters

My fav has to be when Homer gets the big pile of sugar.

In America, first you get the sugar then you get the power then you get the women

I had a Homer-deprived childhood, and only recently have I gotten to watch the Simpsons. As a small child (and still, to a lesser degree) I had horrible allergies. So, my mother took me to get some allergy tests at the local allergist (is that what the specialist is called? alergy doc...) Anyway, I never was fond of doctors, and I didn't sit still. So the doctor told my mom that my misbehavior reminded him of The Simpsons, and said I was definitely a Bart Simpson kind of guy. So, no Simpsons for me.

However, of the episodes I have seen, my favorite by far is the episode where Homer orders a thousand springs and tries to sell them door-to-door. I don't know what it is, but "Nine hundred and ninety-nine springs to flush down..." sung over and over for half an hour, interrupted by "Homie, are you flushing those springs down our toilet?" "No." (Flushing sound) really appeals to my horribly, horribly immature sense of humor...

just pointing out, I mean the old episodes were ok, but since they have now been repeated 1000 times each, there just sickening, and the new episodes are so painful to watch it gives you hemorrhoids, its just that bad

I liked Homer and Barney going head to head as Mr Plough and Plough King. Their cable TV adverts were awesome.

Stick a V8 in it!

Quote eric, I'm sure Madonna has her own awards shelf. It doesn't make her any good.
