Default Who's your favorite Batman?

As the title suggests, who is your favorite Batman?

Adam West

Michael Keaton

Val Kilmer

George Clooney

Christian Bale

Mine would have to be Val Kilmer, followed by Christian Bale.

I've only ever seen the cartoons and the ones starring Adam West so my vote has to go to him. . .

He best captured the somewhat... nasty Batman I grew up with.

"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."

Christian Bale by a mile.

He's perfect for the role.

Adam West was awesome. "Quick Robin, re inflate the tires using the bat tire re inflation system!" Classic.

Before Christian Bale I'd have said Adam West cause I always loved that Batman. It has to be Bale now though he's really good.

Bale, the guy is one of the best 'character' actors out there and he's nailed Batman like no other. Yes Adam West was funny, but for comparisons with the comic, Bale is the man.

I have to agree with you totally on this: Val is an amazing character actor and was only let down by the content and direction of Batman Forever. (Reportedly Kilmer took the role without even knowing who the new director, Joel Schumacher, was and without reading the script.)

Bale is extremely good though... just his voice irritates me sometimes. Doesn't take away too much from his acting skills though.

Followed by Michael Keaton.

Didn't see either the Clooney or Kilmer movies.

Hey! Where'd ... Everybody ... go?
