Good point Gal, especially on the voices from the animated series. Mark Hamill is always going to be the voice of the Joker to me and I was extremely glad to hear Heath do a very similar laugh. The animated Batman had a great, distinctive voice as well but to be honest I don't think it would have translated quite as well to a live action venue. I think Bale's decision to do the Batman voice like he did was a great idea personally.

one thing I want is the ability to split my fire everywhere, it makes no sense that a squad of 10 guard or marines or whatever all have to fire at 1 target with everything, is the guy with the lascannon not smart enough to realize maybe he would be better off firing at the massive tank looming overhead instead of the little man no bigger than a squat running at him, or is that far too complex for the 10yr olds?

For me the best was Adam West because whenever I watch him it reminds me of his family guy character. But beyond that my favourite was Bale.

P.S- Ledger was the best Joker ever, if they replace him for the next film I will be mad. Just leave the Joker out of it no one will do better than Heath did.

Christian Bale, hands down. Val Kilmer is a close second because he's a damn good actor. Only problem with his batman was the director, but Val managed to pull that one out of the fire by sheer force of acting power.

Christian Bale... no issue's.

not only is he the most talented actor to play the dark knight, but the re invention of batman to the character depicted in the comics and the 2 batman movies he has been in have really nailed it.

Bale and Val Kilmer. They actually used their feet in the Batsuit!

*sigh* I have to point out that despite what you see in games, lasrifles win wars. Just because lasrifles suck at killing superhuman killing machines in power armor does not mean that they are bad weapons. You are shooting them at the wrong targets. The most common enemy the Imperium faces is lightly armored humans armed with lasguns or autoguns, NOT SPACE MARINES.

I have to agree with both of these points. On the subjet of Batman, I heard arumour that we're going to be seeing Johnny Depp as the Ridler in the next film, which should be good. Of course this is just a rumour and should be treated as such until we hear something more concrete.

Bale then West or Kilmer. Tough choice between the two of 'em.
Heath was a damn good joker.
