I understand everyones issue with T3, it lacked a great deal of drama and intrigue that the first two movies had. The problem is that we can't simply sweep it under the rug because it was neccessary; otherwise we'd have this giant hole where the plot continuity was. Just like many trilogies that had lackluster middles. That doesn't mean we have to watch it again. ;)
I am exited about T4. It looks like they are revitalizing it in the same way they had brought back other long dead franchises (Star Wars), but this time they might actually be successful(Batman, StarTrek). Christian Bale as never made a bad move in my book, ever, I can't see him letting me down in this pivotal role.
It doesn't smell of chesse (GI Joe), doesn't look all too campy (Iron Man) and seems to already hint at some major dramatic sequences with some great action. Plus it's a continuing of the existing story; Sky Net creating their human replicants. Unlike other movies which are a complete side step of their general universes (X-Men, AvP).
