The Dark Knight was awesome.

Do not disallusion yourself brothers, today we die, our bodies broken and our souls shattered, we will be remembered as corpses on a battlefield.Raise hell my brothers for one day our great Father will hear of our struggle, and he will be honoured to call us his Sons. In death our Glory shall become eternal.' Karik Farron, 1st Lord of the Dark Scorchers at the Fall of Kempar.

Full Metal Jacket. Finest of all war movies.

Sergeant Heartman: "Did your parent's have any children that lived?"
Private Pile: "Yes sir."
Sergeant Heartman: "I bet they regret that!"

Pan's Labrynth is amazing too. Great plot and effects.
Apocalypto is another great movie.
King Kong, Peter Jackson version. Long, but good.
Excalibur, John Borman from 1980ish(?). Awesome armour and fight sceens. Love it.
Top Gun, simply for the lines you can use. "You were in a negative "4-G" turn with a MIG?...So, your the one..."
Mad Max. Say no more.
Alien and Aliens. The rest suck, yes, I am right about that.
Alien VS. Predator was fun to watch, but best ever? Come on...
A bridge Too Far. Good war movie.
Old School. Frank the Tank! "Your my boy Blue, your my boy!"
Trading Places. Eddie Murphy and Dan Akroyd at there best!
What About Bob? Funny. (Filmed at the lake were my parents and sister live, Smith Mtn. Lake, VA.)
The Matrix. Not the other two, but just "The Matrix."

LMAO! Perfect placement, f'ing perfect. Rep for you!

I have a handful of faves, but my end-all is A Bronx Tale.

In no order, Ran, Samurai(the old criterion collection one), Willow, The Beach, V for Vendetta, Serenity. And The Matrix.

EDIT! BAH, and Gangs of New York! Christ, Daniel Day-Lewis just blew me away.

A few of my favs, in no particular order:

The Big Lebowski
The Shawshank Redemption (Especially applicable because I work as an accountant for a prison)
Run Lola Run
Kill Bill
Jon Carpenter's The Thing
Sin City
Fight Club
Hot Fuzz
Minority Report
The Indiana Jones Trilogy. Not so much the 4th one, though.
