Today I went down to my local hobby store, and bought some codex grey to start painting my Valkyires. I had already put a bit of codex grey on the hull before this, this stuff was about 2-3 Years old, and it came out like a dark graphite grey. Then when I got home, I put 1 brush of paint on the Valk, and it looked like the skin of a petrafied person. Ya… Did GW change their codex grey's hue? Is their an alternitive, prefibly GW, paint color?
It's possible that the color you already have on there changed over time. You did say it was a few years old. If you've got paint that old on a model, I'd suggest stripping it before starting again.
my paint, out of the tub, was graphite grey. Thats what im talking about.
