advice please.

so i was at my local GW, and me, and 2 other guys came up with a little challenge for each other. we took formations, and legendary units from the
Apoc book, from an army other then our own, and make an equivalent for our armies of choice. Player 1, has to make a tower of skulls for his Space wolf army, player 2, has to make an Imperial Guard version of a defiler. I, have to make a tunnling swarm (3 ravenger squads, and a trygon) for my Tau. i plan on making it a Battle suit conversion. and maybe some type of tunneling vehicle for the trygon. so, im not sure if this is the right place to have a project blog. but any ideas, and critism would be appreacted

Sounds like a fun little project

There are two ways I could see you going for this, using normal Tau with some sort of tunnelling tank, a Tauish mole machine if you will. So you'd have to loot a tank, and give it some method of moving underground. At the very least a tau pirhana for the cockpit, with a drill assembly on the front.

Or go for a tau allies sort of thing, using kroot (or even stigwigs) and some sort of converted monster, like a giant kroot ox. Might take a bit of work, or finding a good model to base it off of.

Anyway, just a couple of ideas of places you could go, let us know how the competition goes, it sounds fun!
