Marks of chaos

ok fluff wise i want my army to be lead by this really old and powerfull daemon prince who has gathered this large warband containing units from every traiter legion.
So in a way he is like Abbadon not a slave to any particular god.
now in my 1000 points army list i have 5 points spare, cant think of anything else so was thinking of giving him the mark of slaanesh, however i dont want him to be all pink and slaaneshy
now would you get funny if i took the mark but the prince wasnt modeled/painted to represent it?
i probably will include bits from all 4 of the gods on the model, but not one in any strong sense
im honestly not trying to model for advantage here so i can pick and choose which mark i want, its just how i want the fluff to be.
thanks for your opinions

Some thoughts on this - the band is Chaos undivided and he is blessed with all four Marks but can:
Only call/activate one at a time.
Is only choosing to use Slaanesh at the time of that battle.
His aspect is random or changes before going into battle, he is chaos after all.
Warp interference maybe.
Just be creative and give a good reasoning for it.

Im going to paint him all red because im calling him the crimson king (you may have guessed i like the dark tower books) but was thinking of moddeling each limb for each god, so one leg could be all nurgle etc and so forth, this way it looks like he has all the gifts of chaos while still keeping his identity

A guy at my local store uses a Nightbringer converted to a Nurgle DP to fit into his Death Guard army, but it's a Slaanesh Prince with Lash of Submission in game. You pick whatever mark you like, just explain to your opponent first. I don't like the idea of one limb for each god, as they contrast too much, but I'd paint him in whatever colour scheme dominates your Warband (I.e. If you have lots of Plague Marines, make him Nurgley, if you have lots of basic CSM painted in, I don't know, Hakanor's Reavers colour scheme, use that. It gives the idea of him and his core of warriors being the original warband and he's then added bits from other warbands on to his force as it travels the cosmos).

Just paint on the marks in the color of the god. The overall color of red is ok.

Making each limb echo a different Chaos God would look amazing if you did to well; I suggest many many concept sketches first.

I would be fine playing against a model that did not display the common look for it's Mark.

yes there is a dominant color gor each power but the powers can be represented with any color honestly.

Ive seen red slaanesh, white zerks, blue death gaurd, and even black 1k sons. what matters in that your opponent knows what he is facing. The standard DP box is made to where you can represnt any faction on him. He doesn't need a symbol on him to say he is a slaanesh dude or whaever.

Now that limb idea i thought of doing that with my soul grinder a while back and well i just decided to not go with. I felt that it would have been way to much color.

Think about you are goin to incoprate khorne(red), nurgle(nasty ass green), tzeench(blue) and slaanesh(pink). I just couldn't figure out how to balance that out. Im gonna give you pic of my current DP for my CSM. I think it works for undivided really.

why thank you I was showing that you can make them represent all marks but at the same time not be too wildy crazy lookin and vibrant. My second DP for the army is gonna look just like it but I did some modifications to the model it self just to give him a lil more self flavor
