I like the way the chitinous bits came out. However, I'm not a huge fan of the skin tone. Personally, I find the purple to be a bit jarring against the bright yellow. I might opt for a different color, perhaps a green. Although if you want to stick with the purple, I'd suggest to go darker. Contrasting color schemes are great on nids, but I don't think the purple you are using now is contrasting enough.
