This is a picture of one of the only truly completed models in my Tyranid army. Hope you like it Smile

Very good work man. There's only a couple things I'd still do to the model, 1) Highlight the claws and teeth just a little more and 2)paint the little ridged splits in his carapace that are on his back vent things. Oh yeah, then enter it in the golden demon.

Looking at the picture, I've actually noticed there's some paint missing from back of one of the claws when some numpty decided to give it a flying lesson last time I took it to GW.

LeeHarvey - what do you mean by the ridged splits in the carapace? I'm a little confused - or do you mean I should paint them in a different colour to make them stand out? I think I tried that one one of my gaunts and they looked pretty sweet in the same bone colour as the claws... may have to go back to this and do a bit more work on it Smile

I mean those little ribbed areas where it looks like you can see into the carapace. I think it would look cool to paint them in the colors you painted the brain

Extremely nice work on the blue carapace... I feel thepink of the brain matter is a bit strong. Well painted all round though.

Love Tyranids! Smile

Personally I like the strong contrasting colors between the body and the brain matter. Lovely conversion.

I would've painted the back vents like the carapace, but nice work anyway. Looks awesome!
