I make poor life choices and deployed my entire Chapter (~52,000 points) of Space Marines in one game. I have since discovered the real reason that Chapters rarely deploy as a single entity-- it takes two hours to resolve a player turn.

Hmm. I've never played apocalypse, but in the distant mists of 2nd edition I played a massive chaos vs. Imperials game after the Chaos codex came out.

It was about 20,000 points, 10k or so per side. Each player had about 1,000 points. It took all day and into the night to finish.

Well, that's a bit of thread necro.
