McNeil cant write warhammer for shit. The reason it won its award is because its generic fantasy, not warhammer fantasy. The most overrated wroter ive ever had the displeasure of trawling through. Despite the faults of nagash, I would take that far more than the utter tripe of the sigmar trilogy.

Do not expect anything off mcneil.

Gee Vaz, tell us how you really feel about McNeil......

Personally, I've enjoyed the series so far and that's the main thing. I'd just like a little more "God" from my "God-King" is all.

Those are my complaints exactly about McNeil. He completely missed the ball with this, his elves, his ultramarines, his iron warriors. His one redeeming book was a thousand sons, which he then followed up with the godawful outcast dead.

I rather enjoy Sigmar trilogy myself though I found the Nagash trilogy to be the best of the three Age of Legends trilogies. Personally I think that it would be better off for them to leave Sigmar with the trilogy, maybe with some short stories on the side. I say leave some of the mystery and legend of Sigmar.

To be honest, it's best for them to do another trilogy in which you see his power building and him doing stuff no mortal man should ever be doing with him ultimately disappearing over the World's Edge Mountains in the end where there it's up to the readers to determine his true divinity or not. At least having him built up to a state in which people could say "Ya know, he just might've become a god......." As of right now, other than the ending of "God King" did anyone ever get a hint of something more than him just being a great warrior and uniting force of the empire.
