New 40k player looking for a club near Stoke, Staffordshire, UK

Hi, I'm a fairly new gamer, been building up my Crimson Fist army for over a year now but due to everyone I know who is into the game being way too lazy to actually play any games, I've had very little actual game experience. I'd really love to find a local group who play regular games. The closest club in the directory is Derby, which is still about an hour away.

So if anyone plays regularly and is anywhere near Stoke, please reply!

Now this might sound strange but why don't you go to GW Stoke? Joe and Ian are decent lads (the 2 full timers) and Jon the Manager isn't terrible- I live just over the border about 8 miles away from Hanley/Stoke/Newcastle myself.

Hey, I just replied to your post in the intro forum too. I'll definitely get down there at some point when my army is at least not black. I haven't been down too often so far as I tend to buy my models online. The guys do seem friendly though, so hopefully I'll end up down there regularly.
