Default Norwich Gamers?

Hey all are there any gamers (warhammer fantasy) in norwich who would fancy a regular game?

never been a fan of the norwich store for battles and i've had mixed reviews of the local 2 clubs, so if anyone fancies a game one evening that would be great. my flat would be the location. might even be able to sort a few nibbles out.....by this i of course mean beer and crisps

let me know people

I'd recommend trying one of the clubs yourself, as I know that the Norwich Last Stand Club has changed significantly over the last year.

The club has now has 20+ members and 15+ gaming boards with scenary (and we have more planned), so you will always get a game.

We meet every Thursday 4.30 - 9.45
and every Sunday 11.30 - 5.30

at

Battlenet
2a Queens Road
Norwich
NR1 3PR

You can contact the club via
norwichlaststandwargames@googlemail.com

Hopefully we shall see you soon

Who has given you mixed reviews of the two Norwich clubs?

Aftermath has a very strong WFB group, excellent equipment and is fairly friendly. However, they are under numbers pressures due to the small size of the venue so you cannot simply turn up.

The Last Stand at Battlenet has probably better equipment in terms of scenery, but far fewer WFB players. I can give you a WFB game there if you like.

The norm is usually 1500pts, however I think everybody has at least 3000pts of one of their armies as we play Apocalypse regularly (usually sundays).
TBH I never arrange a game before I turn up, as there is always somebody there to challange.

does that include fantasy? or are you predominately a 40k club? as i havent got a 40k army (for the moment ) but i do have around 10k of empire (and 3k more to be assembled) so if i just turn up after work with various lists there should be someone around then?

we are mainly a 40k club but we have a few WFB players,
I'll bring an army down to play you with (either dwarves or lizards) so you at least get one game, but i'm a little rusty on the rules as haven't played fantasy in years.
