Default Ickenham/Ruislip Gaming Club - Probing for interest

Hi Community,

This is more of a "to inquire and seek interest" post on the possible formation of a club in the area of Ickenham/Ruislip, England. There are two of us, both fairly fresh-faced wargamers, looking to form the club as we want to unify a community within the areas that we live.

The area itself is within Greater London, just west on the city and benefits from being on the London underground network - Metropolitan Line.

We have scouted a nice venue in Ickenham (think Scout Hut) that has lots of space, WC + Tea making facilities, nearby parking and shops.

Really we just want to reach out to potentially interested players who may want to join us.

At the moment we foresee it being a weekly meet, to be held on Saturdays. We are open to other possibilities however, if enough members can turn up to mid-week evenings meets.

So at this point it would be great to hear from any local/interested gamers who may be interested in joining us as we form the club over the next few weeks.

Let me know if you have any questions in this thread, we don't pretend to know everything we are doing. However, we are serious about making a successful club that can be an enjoyable place for like-minded gamers to come to and get their dice rolling.

Hey Beattle,

I know you were looking

I was looking for a club somewhere out west London ways as I'm in Chiswick. I would definitely be interested on the Saturdays front as I'm fairly 9-5 (if not longer) making mid-week meets fairly difficult for myself.

Is this still a possibility?
