A girl in my night class has a "how many sleeps till xmas" app on her phone. She plays it every week at the start of the lesson (yeah.. I know...)

However, I now want one for Skyrim

Skyrim is nearly upon us. Tomorrow is the release date.

Who here has it pre-ordered? I do, I just have to go up against a dragon so much that not getting Skyrim is not an option.

I have not got it on pre order as none of the bonusses appealed to me. I will be getting it as soon as I finish work though and locking myself away with the PS3 almost immediately.

Bang goes my weekend till 6am Monday when I have to get ready to go to work... (I did have whole week booked off but workload put a spanner to that )

After that point we should reconvene on here to discuss the greatness that will be Skyrim

Going onto the shelf until the bug fixes, unofficial patches, official patches and beginning of add-on information is released to the public.

Also, just run through the releases on Wikipedia of what I'm hoping to get over Christmas or what I've got currently.

1. Dark Souls
2. Heroes of Might and Magic 6 (I'm a sucker for this, easy to just while away the hours on, it's like Football Manager with more blood)
3. Skylanders (fucking shoot me. Spyro's my childhood)
4. Batman, Arkham City (I keep hearing good things about the series, better late than never)
5. FIFA Manager 12. Cannot believe I don't have this yet.
6. Stronghold 3. Good old storm the castle fun.
7. 007 Golden-eye reloaded. Childhood, bitch, childhood.
8. Uncharted 3.
9. BF3
10. MW3
11. Assassins Creed : Revelations
12. Anno 2070 - City building's my shtick.

FAR TOO MANY.

Batman : Arkham City is really good. It's a lot like Assassins Creed in many ways with the 'I do not want to be that guy' kinda moments. And you get be Batman and non-lethally fire a grappling hook into someone's chest, pull them off their feet towards you and pile drive them into the ground. You get to drive a car door down in the back of someone's neck so hard the car door breaks, result? Unconscious!.

At work Boooo

Finish at half 3, straight to GAME to grab Skyrim - Woohoo!

Play Priority for upcoming months:

Skyrim
Skyrim* (It will dominate my time)
Batman Arkham City
Assassins Creed Revelations
Uncharted 3
MW3
BF3 (Possibly)

I think I have been oversaturated with FPS games, they have lost some appeal until something unique comes up that gets my attention they are low on my priority list now.

Also, still pissed they made something with the XCom brand and made it FPS, Syndicate also

Picked it up today. Haven't had much time to play it yet (curse you final exams!) but from what I have played of it I'm pretty impressed. The combat system is a lot better in my opinion, and I like the changes they've made to the skill system as well
