It's really a knock on the developers not properly play-testing the weapon bonus perk requirements.
It requires the same number of killstreaks for the bolter as a heavy bolter, yet it is far more difficult for the former than the latter. On launch, I cranked out about 16 of them. Now that everyone is leveled, I find it increasingly difficult.
The same can be said of the meltagun vs the plasma cannon in multi-kills. Hell, it can be said for multi-kills in general. Maybe in developer land everyone runs around as a squad, and therefore a well placed shot would net a multi-kill.
But in the frankly bullshit machmaking they have now, where you have players constantly dropping in and out, and no team consistancy between rounds, it's pretty much a free-for-all with everyone running around doing their own thing- making it way too hard to net the proper number of multi-kills.
Especially in comparison to other achivements, like the stalker, lascannon, or melee weapons.
I don't personally do it, cause I roll stalker with burst-fire and equipment mastery, but given the opportunity, I'd crank out those last bolter streaks. Far too many "2 kills and 2 assist" lives for me.
