I can;t imagine marines being playable, not only for fluff (there;s only one way to play a marine outside of a chapter/chaos legion and that's the whole redemption quest spiel...and how many times can you really justify that without it getting retarded?) but for balance. Seriously, if you;re going down to personal scale with stats and everything beyond the basic broad range stats we use in 40k, marines are just gonna end up insanely uber. No way they'd be balanced for play

I could see humans gaining access to power armor as gear, but I just can;t see real marines being playable.

Plus, as gabe and tycho point out in their penny arcade comic, handling all those factions is going to be insane.

See, the main thing is no where in the interview does it say MMORPG. It just says MMO. Keep that in mind for the time being.

It would be cool with a Star Wars Battlefront large-scale war MMO feel. Maybe more like Gears of War with keeping track of all your little things for rank and whatnot, and a system for player to player relations, clans, chapters, etc.. over a skill/level-up one.
This way you could have rediculously large battles, invasions, whatever. The only problems would be how death is handled on a MMO scale for something like this.

The race balance problem attests to what makes 40K's setting so compelling in the first place: everybody hates everybody hates everybody.

I just hope it's free. Because paying $15 dollars a month, or whatever other people pay per month, is like buying a whole new game every month! While if you didn't pay that monthly fee, the monetary funds you had could be allocated to more important stuff.

Beware of the black mage. He killed the Jolly Green Giant in one hit.

$19.99- THQ burned to the ground.

Like Wraith said. Not a single purchase, not for me.

You'll forgive me, but you must be mistaken. I've met your makers, and they don't even know your name...
