The only true answer is the SNES. Because Plok was, and still is, the best platformer to ever exist.
Plok Ruled lol

All you people quoting Final Fantasy VIII, surely you mean VII? VIII was no where near as good as VII.

Has to be PSone for me, Final Fantasy VII, Loaded, ESPN Games, Syphon Filter, Metal Gear, original GTA, list can go on...

Had most consoles growing up but for memories and nostalgia has to be the PS1 titles, although I would never give up my Beast PC or PS3 (Went out and got a 360 and Wii when came out but have never played on them!).

At the moment use PS3 for gaming and I used to MMORPG on PC but since got that monkey off my back it just gathers dust which is waste as have shed loads of games, contemplating putting XBMC/Hyperspin on it and turning it into a HTPC.

you can't say PC. PC will always win. Especially now you can emulate virtually everything and use a wireless controller with it.

For consoles - PS1 or Gameboy.

PS1: Tekken, MGS, G-Darius, Resi-evil, Parasite EVE, Gran Turismo, FF7, Wipeout, parappa, THPS, Soulblade, Point blank. As much as i adored all my Sega and NES consoles, the PSX had some amazing games and i played it to hell and back.

Gameboy: Pokemon, Zelda, Tetris. Perfection.

PS2, PS3, and Sega Genesis. These are 3 really good systems, with fairly good games.

commador 64 or ps1

commandor = ultima, pool of radiance, curse of the azure bonds, etc.

ps 1 = resident evil 1 (aka the only scary resident evil), silent hill, tenchu, FF7, chronotrigger, etc.
