There is about 10 hours worth of gameplay, depending on how quickly you can solve the puzzles.

Compared to the first game, it is a LOT longer.
The first one only took about 2 hours to finish IIRC.

well considering your the only one to comment so far, what would you like to see added, personally i would love it to be longer and less dedicated sections, like there is really only the goos in the very last part and the aerodynamics strictly to the middle.
but what about you KOC

I think portal 2 was fun, had a good story and neither too long or too cluttered.

So should it be longer? Nah, it had a good length, but then again, all games should be longer since they cost more than seeing a movie.

Should they make a followup? You think they wont?

I would love to see a Portal 3.

HOWEVER
I would like to see them focus more on the puzzles themselves, rather than the visuals.
I played it more for the mental stimulation and challenge, rather than impressive graphics.

i agree with KOC, and yeah i would like a longer game, this one i could complete in less than a day, easy as. i think there is a limit on how far they could push the game in its current form though. if they filled the game to the point where the game was of dragon age length it would be amazingly boring.

so yes i would like to see portal 3, based more on puzzles, and a fair bit longer (maybe 20-30 hours) not just 5 hours. but thats just me

I actually found it to be a good length, but it went by too quickly. That's mainly due to the difficulty, and I think if they'd made it harder you'd get newer portal players aho just got stuck and bored.

There was quite a few features that I would have liked to have seen, harder chambers and challenge mode, but as expected valve are releasing these as free dlc in the summer
