Default Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim 11/11/11

This series has huge boots to fill following up Oblivion.

There is still 6 months left before it comes out so this is probably still in closed beta. It is looking pretty tight.

awsome the Khajjit (sp?) dont look like deformed mutants! I loved Elder scrolls 3 and 4, i can not wait for this one too. Khajjit rogue with daggers!

I gotta look into it more to get the full details on which races will be avalible, the usual, or new ones, etc.

Can't wait for Skyrim, especially with the heavy Nordic influence the Nord (duh) lands have. I personally think this game will be the best by Bethesda to date, all their design decisions so far have been either unexpectedly great or right on the money. It's also extremely beautiful.

Easily Game of the Year, this.

it 'should' be GotY but, its got contenders thanks to annoying hype of stupid third person shooters on the failbox.... *cough*GoW3*cough* which is actually looking quite nice too, and i hate the GoW series, so me saying that says alot.

It's for SALE in November.

Being a Bethesda release, Don't expect it to be playable until at least march.

You are one repetitious little nerd with your game pop culture memes lingering on your keyboard like some broken jukebox. Your haterade squirting all over here is getting mighty stale. I will bet not even half of gamers have experienced any problems with Bethesda games, me included, it's just one of those things you little ogres love to hate. Grow your own opinions and stop repeating 4chan.

Cute. Quick. Make it sound more poetic. I think you missed an opportunity for a Max Payne-like line there somewhere.
But I agree. Clearly, differing opinions MUST be wrong.

But it doesn't change the fact that Morrowind was full of bugs for a good year or so after release, Oblivion is still bug-ridden but at least playable now, Fallout 3 was one big bug as well as an insult to the entire Fallout continuity, New Vegas at least stuck to Fallout history but still suffered from the POS that is Bethesda's in-house engine...

They made a brilliant world with Elder Scrolls, but can't code with their own in-house engine to save their lives.

Of course, we could also ignore the fact that Brink is ridden with bugs and nigh-unplayable on several of the maps it shipped with if it makes you feel better? For some scale of deniability, Brink wasn't actually an in-house Bethsoft game but the fact still stands that wherever they go, bugs follow.

Lololololololol.

Keen for this game. I loved Morrowind and Oblivion, and with the new advances in graphics and gameplay, I can safely say that Skyrim will be hitting my XBox shelf by the end of the year.

That's right, you can't. Look at S.T.A.L.K.E.R... Half the size and twice the bugs.

Splash Damage is Splash Damage. They have a long history of buggy games.

Video games have a history of being buggy. name ONE game that didnt ship with a ton of bugs, in the past 5 years, the more complex the computer code, the more it conflicts.

I can, to a small degree write code for multiple systems, and i can tell you that code that does not look like it would be buggy can turn out the most random of bugs.
