Default PSN: Did You Miss It?

Hey everyone.

It seems that PSN is finally being slowly brought online throughout America, Europe and probably Japan.

So I'm just wondering about how everyone with PS3's managed during the downtime?

Did you play Xbox, P.C or maybe even discover life outside the Matrix?

So what did you all get up to?

I personally got back into 40k after an absence of about 4 months and actually found the time to sit and paint (albiet badly) some of my Chaos Daemon models.

I've also discovered the greatness that is House M.D and have begun watching the first season boxset.

So what did you all get up to and did you really miss PSN?

Hardly even cared. I tend to play Co-Op multiplayer and those are few and far between. The only thing that annoyed me was my inability to download the new Castlevania DLC, as I got the game from gamefly the day after PSN went down.

I rediscovered Fallout 3. Ironically, I had only started playing online about two or three weeks before PSN went down. I guess now The Lone Wanderer is doomed to sit in the Capital Wastes as I get back to shooting down helicopters in Black Ops.

I think its kinda funny honestly. I've heard so many whine and cry because they couldn't play black ops online and people started trading in all the PS stuff beacuase of the down network and I think its a damn shame for so many that just can't seem to live without online gaming. Really has it all come to this now. I can forgive many of the yournger gamers that weren't around back in the day. but seriously we can't just play games single player anymore or get our frineds over have a party and kick each others asses on mortal kombat or street fighter.

God I still remember the days when there was no online gaming and it was all bout hanging with your bros fraging the crap out of em or performing sub-zero's old spine rip fatality. I think out of so many it hasn't phased me one bit at all. I spend more time painting than anything and I hate dealing with people online because all they do half the time talk trash and when they get their ass handed to them they just whine and complaign (kinda like when they lose in 40k).

I beat a bunch of games off my gamefly account and got a lot further in Fallout: New Vegas. Sadly Brink came out during the outage and I think many people are going to skip it now... it really is a great online game.

Can re-roll re-rolls
