I was perfectly fine going back to single player gaming. I was just miffed that, after over a decade of friends trying to get me into online gaming (first on PC, then on PS3), I finally give in and then BAM! Network goes down. It just seemed a little ironic.
And before anyone brings up how this wouldn't happen on XBox Live, the only reason I have a PS3 is because a friend left the country, gave me his PS2 and I didn't want to have to buy a whole new library of games.
