Default Dragon Quest Collection Announced

A lot of collections being announced nowahdays?

Well, here is one other to the list.

Square-Enix has announced that the game is coming to the Wii to celebrate the games 25th anniversary.

Personally I have never heard of this series, but well, whatever.

Never heard of Dragon Quest? You must be young.

Dragon Quest (Dragon Warrior in the US) is an old school JRPG series that launched on the NES. It was the first RPG I ever owned on a game system.

The collection is kind of cool for people that have played the games in the series before (there are 9 games in the main series with a few branch offs) but people that haven't played the series my be a bit off-put by how old school the series is. Unless they update the gameplay, by tweaking encounter rates and such, the games will feel old even with updated graphics.

If they ported it to the PC and then made it available via Steam, I'd buy it.
