I'll probably get it.

I like how they've gone for realistic bullet damage. It's not Reach, where you can take 50 bullets to the face without breaking stride.

Thats bullshit. I can take more shots in Black Ops than I can take in Reach. And Reach has an excuse for that. BO does not.

[QUOTE=MetalHandkerchief;962196]Operation Flashpoint <- Several years
Red Faction <- a year
CS 1.6 <- two years ish

QUOTE]

Operation Flashpoint spoiled me for FPS, especially military ones. It gets really frustrating to empty a clip into someone's face and they don't drop. And Red Faction 1 was pure awesome.

Back on topic. I loved the trailer for Brink, but the demo didn't really impress me. If there weren't a half-dozen other games out there that I'm waiting to try, I might be more inclined to give it a go, but as it stands I think I'm going to miss this one.

I was exaggerating. I'm known to do that on occasion.

I always found it funny that in ODST you could take more damage than in the other halos.

There isn't? awww man.....

Game looks fun but i'm still playing TF2, quake3, CS and DOD, and if tribes is any good i don't think I can handle anymore FPS games at present.

There are only three shooters that I know for sure I am going to get in the future. Dust 514, Battlefield 3 and Tribes: Ascend.

Brink looks like it could be the greatest thing since the Lancer, but I'm not impressed just yet. We'll see when it hits the shelves. Though I'm hoping it turns out to be an endlessly fun experience despite its slightly cartoonish style. It's bound to be 1,000x greater than Team Fortress, anyway.

To be fair, it wasn't an opinion.

I'll be getting this game, because I loved playing ET:Quake Wars. I also like how you need a good aim and team work to win.

well with PSN being down the game is a bit lackluster on the PS3 right now BUT it has all the makings of a great online game that will keep you glued to the tv for hours. The parkour effects are great and not overly done, the customizations are nice though I do feel the gun selection could of been more varied, though there are a lot of upgrades you can do the to weapons to make them a bit more unique.

Basicly take Team Fortress 2 , the movement of Assassin's Creed and MAG, force them to mate and you get a general idea of Brink.

I just can't wait for PSN to get back so I can really enjoy everything the game offers.

Can re-roll re-rolls
