Deus Ex
Elder Scrolls 3 - Morrowind

The only two games I have played over and over, well, continued playing in the case of Morrowind, due to the modss...don't play it without a few essential mods.

Here are some more:

RTS: Warcraft 3

FPS: Counter-strike 1.6;

RPG: Final Fantasy I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, X, X-2; Harvest Moon 64;

Adventure: Legend of Zelda: OoT; Metroid Prime

Survival Horror: Resident Evil 1-3, and I think you can include the remake in there; House of the dead, 1-3; Resident Evil: Code Veronica; let me know if I'm missing anything.

Flying/Fighter Action: Star Wars: Rouge Squadron for the N64,

RPG: Elder Scrolls III - Morrowind
Racing: Super Mario Kart
Adventure: Donkey Kong Country II
FPS: Golden-Eye
RTS: Star Trek Armada (I know crappy game but I *love* it)
Fighting: Super Smash Bros.

The reason for each is that, at some point in my life, I was addicted to each. Literally, they were the only games I played for months,m if not years, at a time.

Pre- '02, eh? Hm. Worms, anyone? Diablo (the first one - way more atmospheric, and it had better quest structure) has to be up there as well. And Ocarina of Time. Or, equally good, A Link to the Past. I'm somewhat ashamed to say that I've never played Planescape: Torment, but if I had then I'm sure it'd be good enough to walk with these giants as well.

Four Colditz salads and a Hermann Goering.

My Vote has to go with Elder Scrolls 2:Daggerfall.

Ok it's not as polished as Morrowind, and was quite annoying. However for sheer size, character customisation and its potential sand-box. It has to beat all other games.

I checked it on a site, according to 500 000 North Americans, Ocarina of Time is the best game ever, and I have to agree.

Far too many to count really but:

Starcraft, Diablo 2, Baldur's Gate 2, Deus Ex, Doom. No particular order. Oh and there was this quirky game called Sacrifice by Shiny Entertainment, don't remember when it came out, but I love that title to death!

Come my minions... let us steal their souls.
