These shooters nowadays are total joke to me as i like simulation and realism more. Think as far as closest game to shooter category which has been the best is Red Orchestra.

Otherwise its just Arma2 or Project Reality to me. Nothing beats good and meaningful teamplay.

I've never played Medal of Honour but nor have I heard many good things about it.

The criticisms include

Short, boring story
Singleplayer and multiplayer are two different games
If they wanted that kind of multiplayer they'd be playing on BC2

Althought there are some good points

Fundamentally good multiplayer gameplay, even if it's similar to BC2
Quite a bit of flexibility with weaponry and attachments in multiplayer

On the other hand Black Ops I do have experience of.

I didn't find the story that engaging personally, I only completed it to get the zombie map 'five'.
Multiplayer is way more arcadey than MW2 was. A bit of a throwback to CoD4 and WaW, which were awesome games. But personally I like the MW2 system.
Still uses the same host system as WaW so crappy lag when the map pack had just came out.
Why are dogs in it? One shot kill is way too overpowered.
Perk balancing issues. eg. Flak Jacket, essentially immune to explosives
Some gun balancing issues. Ak-74U, 'nuff said

But I do still enjoy it

They rebalanced noobtubes - nowhere near as bad as it was in MW2, in fact they now actually deserve a non-noob name. I know it was part of the game in MW2, so I accepeted it, but I did still think that they were over-powered.
Still essentially fun gameplay
Nazi zombies is awesome
Removed Stopping Power as a perk - one of my mates always moaned that you couldn't do an effective class for non-hardcore gameplay without it. So I went and made three and got nukes with two of them, didn't shut him up though
