And if you're funding a game you have the right to expect a game to be done within a set amount of time. If you want to see what happens when a publisher gives a studio unlimited time to make a game look at the MMO Vanguard.

The game was in production for 7 years, SOE had to force them to put it out because they couldn't keep funneling money into a product that can't be sold. When the game finally came out there were zones that were empty, no mobs, no landscape, no sky, just a flat plain.

Issues with the games should be laid at the feet of the studio, not the publisher.

It would make more sense then the complaints I have with EA come from "not being able to contact EA servers" on games from EA Publishers, yet I've not had that issue on such a wide ranging scale with any such game. Cod4 and MW2 I rarely have connection problems with, but with Dragon Age: Origins, I have trouble connecting online, and it frequently drops midplay, meaning I'd have to reload the game, Fifa, I struggle to get a consistent form, and MoH, well, that's well known for not being able to connect the servers for often hours or even days at a time, which is one of it's few let downs.

Hardly. Anything with the SAGE engine is unbalanced and hardly controlable.
Generals was a big meh, but RA3 and CnC3? Piss poor easy and absolutely horrid to control
