It's between the PS3 and PC. I love playing on the PC. I've borrowed a mates old gaming PC, and I've been having fun with the exceptional quality of graphics, and they're not even on maxed, yet I'm still able to get a good frame rate.

I'm also able to play mods, and the connection is faster than relying on wireless.

However, with the PS3, I can play with my mates in the same room, we can ensure that there's no errors going on with the gameplay, and a lot more of my mates have got a 300 quid PS3 rather than spending 1500 on a quality gaming PC.

I'm definately going to start looking into getting, if not a built up Rig, a gaming Laptop so I can take it with me.

SNES, for the times when the games were still aimed for real gamers instead of casual gamers (remember the times the games wern't piss-easy)

That, and the new consoles are as durable as wooden shack in front of a tidal wave.
My SNES and Commodore 64 still works fine, my PS1 however is on the verge of quiting.
My PS3 however, died about 9 times, only to narrowly revived by me again, just because it's a illogically and cheap designed piece of (censored).

For me PC is the undisputed champ. Second I'd have to say I spent the most time playing all the 16 bit RPG's on Super Nintendo and loved every minute of it.

Toss up between a SNES and PS1. Both had games that were just amazing such as Final Fantasy VI, Chrono Trigger, Orge Battle, Super Mario World, and Breath of Fire on the SNES and Final Fantasy VII, Xenogears, and Wild Arms on the PS1.

I just feel a lot of games on the SNES are timeless. Meaning you can put them on and play them now and they are still soild examples of gameplay.

Well I was going to vote for Xbox 360 as best console, but then I saw PC on the list and thought how could I not? In all honesty its the best 700 I've ever spent.

No option for the NES or any of the SEGA's?

Oh well. I'll vote for PS1 i guess.
Only because we used to get them modded and have a bajillion burnt games in several big folders.

360 just edges it for me,
with the N64 and non-existant (on this list anyway) megadrive and dreamcast close to it

All right, but apart from the sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh water system and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?
