I love laying downing covering fire with a M60. LMGs are a lot better than the ones in MW2, I also love the sound they make.

Good shit, Words_of_Truth! I love LMG's. Even more so that now it doesn't take 10 bullets to kill someone in the core playlists like in MW2, thank the Gods. I'm sure someone will cry foul and they'll 'fix' that, but we'll see. Anyway, LMG's are pretty awesome indeed. Especially the M60 as you've mentioned with that 100 round belt it has over the tiny magazines in the others.

Used them all the time in MW2, SMG's all the time in MW1...but I've been mainly using AR's in Black Ops. Mainly the AUG in Core modes or the FN FAL in Hardcore. It's [the FAL] quite a flexible weapon capable of reaching out and touching someone while being manageable in close-quarters with a quick trigger finger, but using it in Core modes is practically a fools errand. Unlocking the Commando or G11 might change that line-up in a week or two.

All quickscopers can snipe properly; On MW2 I'd have headshot you before you could even aim.

The reason we quickscoped is because it's harder, and more fun. Man up stella, don't hate us because you're shit at sniping.

Definitely agreed; though, I havn't actually bought any of them yet.

Addicted to sticks and stones - wager match. I'm pretty good with the tomahawk, so I played that game type, getting about 10 tomahawk kills a game, meaning I keep setting everyone back; It's awesome.

The guy who wishes he never sold all his warhammer. Haha. Such is life.

The HK21 is a pretty solid platform like most of the other default weapons. (The Olympia shotgun is hit/miss. Pun optionally intended.) It's hindered by a small magazine size, but I believe it reliably kills in three center mass hits on core mods. Decent range, accuracy and controllable recoil. Some say the iron sights are great, but since they're rather low on the weapon, I think it blocks out the lower hemisphere of your vision too much for long-range engagements. A red-dot/reflex or even an ACOG are heavily advised choices.

Though you could skip right on to the dakka king that is the M60, of course. Both are good choices, IMO. The hitch being that the HK-21 reloads much faster than the belt-fed M60 but it's not that big of a deal so long as you keep it in mind when going Arnold Schwartzenegger with the '60.

Nice Tomahawk skills, by the way. I haven't tried the wager matches yet, but I'll probably give Gun Game a spin. If it's as fun as the Counter-Strike mod, it should be a blast.

Yeah you got so much ammo in the M60 you'll usually die before you have to reload, if you don't though I tend to just stick down my claymore and hide in a corner, or throw a decoy grenade and let them chase it lol.

Yea I rented Black Ops and beat it in one night, and I was very disappointed. The fighting was cool but the campaign was sooo short, (took me 7 hours to beat it) and they filled it with long video clips and remembering sessions that do nothing but waste time. and at the end u spend ten minutes walking around dazed as he remembers everything. They should have actually put more gameplay in instead of filling the time with stupid video segments where all u can do is listen. So glad I didn't buy this game. Online was fun though, I use LMGs and the first thing i bought for mine was a sniper scope so I could snipe ppl. but since that was the only thing about the game I like im not paying 60 bucks for it especially since Live now costs $70 for a year.

yeah that auto-aiming feature really made things harder for you cheapscopers didn't it, thats so much harder than having to actually look down the sight.

and if you quickscopers can scope properly why did you always whinge and cry and bitch when someone killed you hardscoping?

hell I did a private match against 5 pathetic little teenage snot bags who all qucikscoped and when I killed all 5 with 5 bullets hardscoping they said I was cheating, now they could of been sore losers because there quickscopers, or just saw losers because there balls had not yet dropped.

I don't think people play Call of Duty for the campaign content tbh, it's a very popular multi-player game.

Even better is when you pick a sniper off while using an LMG or AR and getting hate mail or high pitched claims of aimbotting. It's pretty tough to effectively snipe 'legit' in CoD, I must admit. Most of the maps are in tight quarter environments with very specific avenues that a sniper can fully take advantage of, and even then they have to multi-task by watching their back at the same time.

When split-screening on Team Deathmatch games, I usually watch my buddies back whenever he snipes. His shooting alone, even missed shots, will draw a lot of enemies to our position and I mow them all down. It works almost as well as using a care package for bait. Though the problem with that strategy is team mates will pick the package up before you can gain some kills out of it.

I'd have to agree with this. For the most part, people are drawn to the online action. CoD isn't widely known for its single player mode, but it multiplayer action.

Something that might, or might not be useful:

[Flerden] 9:05 pm: Why the hell can't he just go offline if he goes to watc tv?
[dark angel] 9:06 pm: It is Doelago, we will never know
