G11 was a shitstain of disappointment, in single and multi player, good in zombie mode though if you can funnel the zombies.

I find the Commando to be the best of the assault rifles and the Stoner63 for the lmg's.

one thing I want is the ability to split my fire everywhere, it makes no sense that a squad of 10 guard or marines or whatever all have to fire at 1 target with everything, is the guy with the lascannon not smart enough to realize maybe he would be better off firing at the massive tank looming overhead instead of the little man no bigger than a squat running at him, or is that far too complex for the 10yr olds?

What's with all these little kids calling sniper rifles 'snipers' these days? I guess it's the same as the mag vs. clip argument which crops up all too often. This one game a guy was calling out enemy positions on Nuketown and said 'There's a sniper on the second floor of the other building.' whereupon this kid with a mic said 'I don't want to pick it up, you can have it.'

o.O

Of course calling out positions on that map is futile, at best. We all know how much of a spawn clusterfuck that one is. I just don't understand this 'smurf' craze.

Cause kids and their enabling parents are idiots and they should be playing AGE appropriate games.

One reason why I stuck to PC Gaming is less noobs and whiney 12 yr olds. Most dedicated servers have mods that insta ban all retarded behavior.

Let them HATE, so long as they fear.

Because it's easier to state Sniper than Sniper Rifle.

Commando is pretty ninja, i use it with silencer and it does a good job of cracking out headshots!

Is it just me, or did they give the Masterkey a bit of a bigger punch? At launch it seemed as though it was absolute rubbish but just last night I was dropping people like bags of dirt in just one to two shots.

I <3 Masterkey. Works wonders on decent iron sight automatic weapons like the AUG, Commando or the Galil.

I thought the game was not up to par with MW2. Im not a big treyarch fan to begin with considering they just seem to re-mesh Infinity wards work. The game is barable but not at all they way it should be. The thing that i was excited for was that they were making the shotguns a primary class, but when i got my first shotgun i was not impressed with the range or the damage. None of the shotguns are worth while using. also they nurfed the spas a lot.
Another thing i dont like is how none of the maps are really sniper friendly at all. Im glad about mainly because if it was to sniper friendly we would have to change the name of the game to battle field or medal of crap. Still hasnt stoped me from using the bolt action rifle.
I havent played the campaign but from what ive seen it looks really lame. Also has any one noticed that the AK-74U is one of the most over used gun in this game. I have seen servers where everyone was using them. Its kind of dumb, but its just one of those things ill have to adjust too i guess. I think COD4 was really the best game Activison has put out in a long time, but MW2 was not to terrible.

I would have to entirely disagree on the assertion that every shotgun is useless. Not the Stakeout/Grip or AR Masterkey attatchment, anyway. On maps like Firing Range I've actually gotten a few chopper gunners while using the Stakeout. Though the others leave much to be desired. There is a significant flaw with the game that can make weapons like the Olympia or pistols too much of a risk to use.

The damage dealt in Black Ops varies. For instance, if you shoot someone in the chest with a specific weapon, it will take away a random amount of player-health within a certain range associated with the weapon. I'm unsure if this is new in the CoD franchise, as I don't believe that CoD 4 (a game I agree was the most balanced and enjoyable of the franchise aside from the Juggernaut whores) featured that. This is why some people can magically survive multiple headshots before getting killed.

I will have to agree that the maps are most certainly not sniper friendly, though. I don't use Sniper Rifles at all in Black Ops, instead using an ACOG/Grip M14 for my long range battles. Sniper rifles just aren't flexible enough. But as far as people abusing the AK-74, they aren't very common on the Xbox 360 from my experiences.
