I didn't do that; but it's easier to hard-scope than quick-scope, hard-scope you have all the time in the world and bigger targets (as you're zoomed in) ONTOP of the auto-aim feature.

The guy who wishes he never sold all his warhammer. Haha. Such is life.

I don't bother with sniping unless I'm out of ammo and there's a sniper rifle on the ground. As The Wraithlord pointed out earlier, the maps are rather harsh on the sharpshooters of the community as they usually only have a few places where one can take full advantage of the sniper rifle's range.

Been using the Stoner 63 LMG pretty often now. It only comes with two 60-round magazines, with extended mags, so you blow through it fairly quickly but it's devastatingly accurate and packs a solid punch you can count on. Although I've had to ditch it for a new weapon by the time I've earned my SR-71 killstreak, I've gotten quite a few Huey's with it. I would definitely recommend using the Scavanger perk with it or something if you're not comfortable with using whatever weapon is available once your ammo is bingo.

One more level and I'll be able to unlock both the Commando and the G11. Been thinking of throwing a rifle scope on the G11, if possible, since it seems like a great Hardcore weapon.

On an irrelevant note, what killstreak set-up do you guys prefer? Right now I've got it set to Spy Plane, SR-71 and Chopper Gunner. The two recon awards help me get to the Chopper Gunner fairly quick, and are always useful to team mates.

Fair enough. I never bother, personally - everyone else is using it, so why shouldn't I? Then again, I rarely seem to use it all that much in any case.

Yeah the stoner rocks!!

As for killstreaks I currently go with sam turret, care package, and mortars.

one thing I want is the ability to split my fire everywhere, it makes no sense that a squad of 10 guard or marines or whatever all have to fire at 1 target with everything, is the guy with the lascannon not smart enough to realize maybe he would be better off firing at the massive tank looming overhead instead of the little man no bigger than a squat running at him, or is that far too complex for the 10yr olds?

Well my friend is a quickscoper by heart and trade and though its been made difficult it is still very very possible though a sniper on these maps is just a waste of time, they are too small, lots of buildings and very few high up firing line.

Personally I 've gone back to modern warfare 2, and immediately got my ass raped by noob tubes which irritated me, but i just prefer it.

There is something strange about the graphics that irks me, something cartoony that i really dont like. Zombies is awesome and i think the multiplayer game is far far more balanced with fewer awesome classes or guns that just rip people up

The ump just springs to mind, it rips the shit out of me every time. its a more even game but ill stick with modern warfare 2 for now.

Stay at least until they sort out the constant connection problems, they need to release a patch to sort a few things out.

kudos to lillian thorne for the awesome sig

The art style isn't cartoon-like, the graphics are just shittier than previous Call of Duty titles, it seems. Add the atmosphere of the 1960's to the mix, and that's likely why you're thinking that.

Though if you ask me, the majestic lack of 'noob-tubers' is more than enough reason to play Black Ops over MW2, but your choice is your own of course. The 40mm grenades are very weak in this game, not Medal of Honor weak, but enough that some people won't be using them.

One thing that bothers me is that you can't expect much dev support for this franchise anymore after the post-launch fixes within the months following release. A few map packs later and once next years CoD title arrives, Black Ops will likely be discarded for the more fashionable title at the time.

spy plane
the counter spy plane
and Napalm
mixed with hardline I only need 4 kills to get all 3 active, so I spot where you are, blind you, then burn you, especially good since napalm travels through solid buildings for some reason.

The multiplayer is definitely better than MW2

I use Crate, Mortar Team, Attack Chopper.

Sounds like a very effective set-up. I learned that bit about napalm strikes the hard way... I was hiding inside one of the Nuketown houses after playing it for the 9th time in a row when the kitchen oven seemed to explode. That map gets picked quite often... I think the most I've ever played it consecutively was 14 times.

With perks, I've settled on: Ghost Pro, Warlord or Slight of Hand depending on which weapon I'm using and Marathon.

For a snapple fact to those who do not know, because a lot of people joke around about the name of the Stoner 63, the designer of many familiar weapons such as the AR-15 was named Eugene Stoner. The Stoner 63 was developed with the intention of being a modular weapon but was turned down by most US forces for reliability issues. It was most associated with the SEALs until the M249 came around.
