Default Bioshock Infinite

Ken Levine's new game was just announced and it looks damn cool. Check out Kotaku's article because it goes very in depth into what the game will be about. I am very, very excited since the first two bioshock games are among my favorites.

hmm, well after playing bioshock 2 my enjoyment of bioshock dropped to almost 0, I really had to force myself to finish number 2, and it had zero replay value at all, I mean 1 was good, but again hardly any replay, so there gonna have to really do allot to interest me other than have loads of corridors in the sky instead of underwater.

Looks like a really good game, there was only so much they could do with Rapture and now they have Columbia. Ill definitely be getting this.

Can't wait for this one, should be interesting; was wondering what they were going to do next. This might just be me, but it seems all the better knowing that the main character has an actual name for a change, rather than guessing at one or going by a possible nickname.

100% fully agreed with darkreever.

I enjoyed the first Bioshock and the 2nd, and look forward to this. Looks good

Jake.

I do wonder what that thing throwing the protagonist about like a rag doll was though. Its probably the Infinite version of the Big Daddy, wonder if it'll be as iconic as its predecessor.

Or maybe it will be what caused the international incident that the Columbia became known for, and is the reason for why its location became lost to the world. You know like as the main antagonist of this game; would be pretty interesting for what may be a cyborg as the main bad guy.

To me it looks like some kind of giant clockwork doll that has been integrated with a human (that was a heart I saw right?).

I really enjoyed the first Bioshock game for its story and I thought it was pulled off very well while I enjoyed the second more for its gameplay. I hope that this new game pulls off both and I'm also loving the new environment. Whereas Rapture was a city already in decay, we get to see Columbia in all its glory with a bright (literally) new architectural style.

Instead of all these spiritual successors to spiritual successors, am I the only one who would absolutely love a new-engine remaster of the System Shock games?

Leave the story and gameplay EXACTLY as is. Just redo the sound effects, graphics and physics engines.

Thats one thing that will be very different about Infinite. Whereas Bioshock and Bioshock 2 were dark and destructive, from the trailer we can assume that Infinite is much brighter and more freeing then being trapped underwater, there will be open spaces and clear views of the sky, lending a much bigger feeling to Columbia then Rapture could have given.
