Default Dawn Of War Soulstorm

So I'm playing the campigne with the sisters of battle but its not my first time, I've already done the necrons and imperial guard.
I just doing the spacemarine base and its like what 2/4 the way through the whole campigne, its sooo long. Anyone else wish they just kept it simple like with winter assult which in my view was the best out of all the DOW.

Not really because I prefer Soulstorm to Winter Assault, the campaign is better and more in depth in my opinion. Still you should check out DoW2 if you haven't already, much better than the others.

Jake.

I think the plot for Winter Assault was more in the style of 40K than Soulstorm. My computer died before I could finish the Chaos campaign, but the Imperial one deffinately felt grim and dark and grimdark. WA probably had an easier job, though, with only 5 races to work with instead of having to figure out why 9 races would be fighting over the same system.

I was thinking about it, it looks like a great campigne but one question, can the units crotch behind walls ect?

Yes. Units can use cover and weapons can destroy it. Tanks and walkers can just walk/drive through walls!

Dawn of War II, in my limited experience of playing it over a buddies place thanks in no small part to my under-cutter of a computer, was absolutely awesome. You could argue the plot could have been a lot better but the gameplay was still fun. Though it is a bit lesser scaled than previous Dawn of War titles, it is still a cool game. I recommend it to any gamer/40k fan.

I never finished Soutstrom's campaign. Everything took 10+ minutes to load (And my computer runs the game fine).
I personally liked the original DoW campaign. There was a good backround story along with the way that the campaign was almost like a tutorial. In almost every mission the'd introduce a new unit and explain how to use it.

I prefer dark crusade to soulstorm. Soulstorm takes several minutes to load each map and isnt noticably better then dark crusade. I dont care for sisters or flyers much so dark crusade is the one I load up if I want a quick game... doesnt mean I dont play soulstorm though, but its only as a change.
