Reaper rush. - these guys, mainly their speed, are OP. basically get the harvesters and gank stuff.

Warpgate rush. - pylon near enemy base and warp stuff in.

Helion rush. - build 2-4 and rush enemies harvesters.

DT rush. - people rarely have detectors early in the game. Again get harvesters.

There are a bunch more, but these are the ones I use.

When I was a young boy, I dreamed of being a baseball...

roaches really dont work, thats why your losing. they USED to be good, but now they take too long to build, take 2 food a piece, and cost quite abit to be made useful

the key to every good DE army makeup. Always have a backup plan, try to take everything in multiples, and use everything you can to your advantage, being a sneaky bastard within the rules, as it were.

If an Opponent is zerg or Terran this tactic will cost you the game

Helion rush. - build 2-4 and rush enemies harvesters.

They never get past the bunkerscannonspissed zerg

DT rush. - people rarely have detectors early in the game. Again get harvesters.

Never seen anyone try this since theirs always decters around.

Anyhow i don't rush since it doesn't seem to really work very well against any of the races but zerg, countering is your best bet let them waste units trying to take down those defenses well you expand and pump out units! Over the course of the day iv masted the "Be an Ass with battle cruisers" tactic and its won me 5 games in a row so far.....so i cant complain? Or depending on the map the Thor\Marauder: combo is great.

Protoss warp ray spam is costing me alot of games, otherwise its banshees battlecruiser viking combo for terrans, I'm struggling with zerg as they seem to be outclassed unless you play a noob or win very early, I do love the infesters though

I prefer a Protoss air assault, Phoenixes and Void Rays with Carriers backing them up and a Mothership in central. And of course reinforcements on the ground consisting of Zealots, Dark Templars and Immortals.

The key to zerg is that you can change tactics very quickly to react to what your Opp is fielding. While each unit is weak on it's own the ability to build 2-3 at a time from each of your hives is awesome.

You need to focus on dividing your opp's forces and attack them from different locations on their base. Always keep up the pressure and dont give them a chance to breath.

Zealot "rush" or GTFO.

I swear that if they've nerfed my Zealots, there will be hell to pay.

If you win all the time in SC1 you shouldnt be having problems with SC2 because it's probably the bogged down version of SC1 in terms of user friendliness, in other terms, its hella easier.

If you play Terran, remember two things;
If you aren't attacking, you're expanding,
If you're attacking, keep up the pressure and see to the end of it.
- Marine rush (two barracks, each with one of the two building upgrades + Armoury (research armor over weapon first, always and then alternate))
- Vulture rush, spider mines, self explanatory
- Barrack rush, send an SCV to an enemy expansion/base early in the game, set the barracks down and spam some good ole' terrans
- Reaper rush, these guys are a huge pain in the ass early in the game if you use them correctly, they jump over buildings and sting like a bitch, use them to eliminate and harass opponents peons, they're super effective

Protoss:
Zealot rush, slow but deadly and their damage/shield count is ridiculous.
Expand quickly*
Void ray, these units are super annoying and i cannot tell you how effective they are at just, blowing shit up.

Zergs, remember one thing here;
It's all about momentum and impetus when you're playing zerg, their units are relatively weak in comparison to the two other races but they produce quickly and you shall use that to your advantage.

Zergling rush, self explanatory

Ultralisk/Hydralisk + Zergling build if you want to be an asshole

Hope that helps \m/
