To tell the truth I've never played Star Craft 1 but I might be looking into this one if I can be bothered to pay for it. There's a lot of games I want to buy that are released soon and a few recent releases I still haven't gotten my hands on, so there's already a lot to buy for me at the moment.

Regards,
Jake.

if you have never played SC one.......leave, now! I'm only 14 and I played it. You have no excuse, go and buy it. Until then please do not speak of rts games.

Good friend of mine picked up Starcraft 2. Been watching him play it for a few hours today and I have to say I'm very much impressed with the way Blizzard handled it. I was worried. RTS's aren't my deal, I prefer the up close and personal nature of FPS's, but Starcraft is a nice looking game for sure.

I have so far avoided it, i have become a little disillusioned with pc games after getting royally screwed by DOW2 and the last C & C and having "issues" with empire total war.
Plus i have to admit i have been blown away by games on the PS3 which 2 years ago i would never have said.
I checked it out at the store today and im not 100% convinced my pc would run it as it looked like a hungry beast of a game anyone playing it on a oldish pc let me know what its like performance wise ,my pc is only 12 months or so old and has a fair amount of memory and a decent enough graphics card and processor but seems to struggle and crashes during game play alot even though it pisses the recommended requirements for most RTS games.

HUGE BITZ RESTOCK NOW ON

I've almost finished the campaign on hard and have played a few MP games. I'm gonna throw it out there... It's better than the original.

My only complaint is that small bits of the story let it down.

The TV commercials are hilarious. In fact the game has lots of chuckles in it. I also like how each of the missions has a small twist to it, not just a boring countdown timer, but

When I was a young boy, I dreamed of being a baseball...
