Okay the guy is a bit Geeky and I am not sure he has the concept right but it still looks like a whole load of fun. The game is scheduled for release in Nov 2010. I think I will be having a word with Santa

I personally don't see the point in this...

Where would you play this? I'd want to play outside but there's no way I'd leave anything lying around to be lost or stolen, maybe if I owned a mansion...but then again I'd have better things to do if I had that much money.

Reminds me of Quasar from the 90's, i used to manage a arena back in my youth in leeds, possibly the best years of my life.....anyway, i like it , set it up in the garden with laptop easy enough. Will santa be bringing me this? not likely but if i was 20 years younger maybe

HUGE BITZ RESTOCK NOW ON

Its an idea that you think, thats awesome and then you think again and think actually not so good

Depends on the range i guess I'm pretty sure me and my housemates could have a bit of a laugh with this for about 10 minutes but it would stop being a laugh when one of us burst out the bathroom and knocked the other down the stairs.

Plus how does it work through walls etc, i think its a difficult one to judge. Outside in the park or in a proper arena would be awesome, but it would mean someone would have to sit and guard your laptop whilst the chances of the men in white coats being called when your found sitting in a bush frantically searching through the leave for ammo for your plastic raygun are high

kudos to lillian thorne for the awesome sig

The base station has a 300m range so playing in the garden or in/around the house or even up the street (wouldn't recommend up the street for adults the neighbours will think your mad) would be no problem. The guns themselves have a 60m range so in theory so long as the guns were within 300m of the base station (wherever that may be) and you were within 60m of your target, you would have a pretty large playing area.

I know my boys will love it so it's a good excuse to buy it and join in

Now to find someone who lives next to a woods.
