So, so many moments in X-Com. One of my most memorable was getting almost all my guys killed within a few feet of the Skyranger. With about 4 of them left, after friendly fire incidents, and more explosions, I almost made it to the command center of the alien ship, before my last guy, who had survived a grenade under his feet and two heavy plasma shots got killed going around the corner. So much went wrong, but it felt so good.

Writer of crappy fics, I hope you might derive some enjoyment from them. For original stuff. For stuff that is part of an established universe.

This was several years ago when I still rocked the Ganj. I cut out of work early and went over to my brothers house where all us guys met up and played games all damn night. I rarely play any FPS games as I start to get ill from moving without moving. We hit the green and started fucking up Halo 2 4 player 2V2. My partner and I went out and got the warthog and I started driving with him shooting. They killed me rather quickly and I re-spawned.
After I made it back to the warthog that Dan was driving at this point I started shooting the gauss rifle (I think) while he was driving like Helen Keller being being given directions from Stevie Wonder. Turns out that as I was scanning the terrain that the reticle would turn red when it would cross over an enemy. Most times your reactions are to slow when driving that fast. High as hell I was on it. We destroyed them every game for like 6 hours, until they said that I was not allowed to use the gun in the back ... I laughed so damn hard cause I was just killing shit all night.

I like your style, Talthewicked.

There's nothing better than mowing people down in the Warthog while intoxicated. It's just strangely epic combination.

"Dakka dakka Double kill! Dakka dakka Triple Kill! Dakka dakka Overkill!"

Oh, the hate mail I've received...

Maybe not quite the same level of epicness as the rest of these stories...

But getting to lvl 80 in WoW was one of those moments for me. Because between work/school/family life/raising children/social life, I have never been able to commit to instances (kid wakes up..gotta go) or really dedicate much time to it. Took me over three years, but I did it, fuck yah. Sure, so does everyone else who plays for a few months, but god damn I never have time to play.

Then I got really bored and stopped playing.

New one for me... winning 32'000 caps in one spin of slots on Fallout: New Vegas only to get told to piss off by the manager of the casino. It's a shame I don't have that luck in real life

Probably qualifying for the Fifa Interactive World Cup in Germany back in 2005. I needed to be ranked 60th in the world and managed to hit 20th before the cut off date.

I fucking rocked that edition of fifa.

Triple Headshot with intervention, getting me Collateral Damage, All Pro and Fall on my intervention in 1 shot.

That was epic.

Only other I can think of is when I finally beat all songs on Hard on GH3. - I don't really game very much.

Worst moment? Being sacked from Inter Milan for losing a cup game on Professional. I had such a fucking sick team... Robben, Dani Alves, Eto, Sneijder... God fucking damn it.

The guy who wishes he never sold all his warhammer. Haha. Such is life.

In WoW I was a 61 hunter in a 60-69 bracket, solo ran the flag back to the base 3 times without dying, got my Ironman achieve, then just buggered off and shot people for the rest of my PvP life. Good times, good times. Then the Dk's came along and made Ally lose because all the tards went as one, meaning we got owned.

Story I'm Currently Writing:

The Diary of a Guardsman (Continuous Story)

Couple crazy things happened in Halo the past few days. Was hunting a Wraith tank with a Ghost and when it finally blew up, the game said I pummeled it to death with my fists. I must have telekenesis, because I was at least a hundred yards away when it blew up.

If you have the 9 seconds to spare, too, I also earned a double kill pretty much because of gravity. It's not rendered, so only those with the game can download/watch it in theater mode. Kinda tough to describe with words, but it was an interesting 'wtf' moment.
