Looks interesting, but my experience with the Killzone series has me shaking my head at it. I just don't like it. The gameplay in 2 seemed sub-par. I wasn't exactly enthused with the idea of having to question if I was actually playing the Wii with the motion controller hijinks and the concept of a flying open-topped transport made me wonder if they had any military advisers involved in the games developement. One flak burst would fill the passengers with so much metal it would be funny.

I wasn't too impressed with Killzone 2 to be honest. It was a good game don't get me wrong but having been a large fan of the original Killzone back when it was released, I just felt that all those years between the two games weren't shown when comparing the two games. The graphics didn't seem that much improved either.

Though they were both still good games and I'm definitely going to give Killzone 3 a chance, hopefully it will supply what was expected (and more) with Killzone 2.

Regards,
Jake.

I gonna get a ps3 to get Killzone 2/3 as the first one was AWESOME!
The mission shown in the trailer looks heaps fun, and they seem to have developed it a bit more ie: weapons combat system. The new weapons look cool as well

The Jetpack looks pretty cool and it's about time the graphics looked more up to the current standards

If they take Killzone 2 and add the secondary fire options and a story as good as the one from the first game, I'll be happy. And then make a game where I get to play as the Helghast. They are simply too cool.

What was greta about the first game...

The weapons system.
The Character system (pick your character)
the story line with character development and characters starting to get on with each other (Rico and Helghast fella)

What was done badly in Killzone 2.
The weapon system, they took away the secondary fire mode and the only bloody missile launcher in the game is a helghast one.... that the ISA troops start with somehow.
Get stuck using the same character throughout the game, Bring back Luger.
Rico has gone from a semi-alright Character to a shouty swearie wanker who seems to just shoot everything and want to "make people pay".

They scrwed the pooch with killzone 2, probably gonna do the same with the 3rd one.

Everyone has a purpose, just so happens mine is more of an example to others of what NOT to do.

I know it's time to go to bed when the last post in every thread has been written by me.

Lol... I actually played Killzone 2 for the first time today, and I must say that it is probably the best FPS game I have ever touched... Only played two/three campaign missions, and I was very impressed... I might even go as far as buying the Collectors edition for Killzone 3... Even when I haven`t got a PS3... I regret getting a 360... I want Killzone 3... And a PS3...
