I'll, uh start. My ALL time favourite RTS is Sins Of A Solar Empire. Real awesome, great graphics, and reasonable system requirements. The units in the game are BIG, I'll put some pics on, and big fleets can be amassed.

A piece from flickr.com

This girl was hanging out by the Sins of a Solar Empire booth the entire time at PAX. I guess she's a character from the game? But every time I try looking up information about the game I mostly just get pictures of starships. Also, I want to buy the game now.

I think she had a really good time freaking everyone out with her crazy eyes. A lot of people (myself included) would ask to take a picture of her, or with her, and she'd just stare you down. Scary! Good job, creepy mysterious girl.

Nice way to promote the game, huh?
By the way, her name is Josie and she is a co-owner of Ironclad Games and she was one of the lead developers on Sins of a Solar Empire. She is dressed as an Advent Matriarch from that particular game.

I dug it up somewhere.

Shoulda posted this in the video games section, and you really should learn to edit your posts if you forget to put something in it.

Anyway. I've heard a lot about that game while playing EVE Online, an MMORPG. I'm not much of an RTS fan aside from the Homeworld games and Dawn of War II, I suppose. They were plenty of fun. But when a game is reduced to whoever clicks through monotonous routines the fastest (Starcraft), they aren't that fun anymore.

That Solar Empire game reminds me of EVE.
