Default Nintendo 3DS Released

Nintendo's newest member of their DS franchise is the new Nintendo 3DS. Released today (15.06.2010) at E3, the Nintendo 3DS is 3D. Here are some specs/info:
  • One 3D screen (top), touch screen is still 2D, top screen is widescreen, bottom normal size screen
  • No glasses 3D experience
  • Dpad, touch screen and new analouge stick controls
  • Motion sensor + gyroscope
  • Updated graphics (wii quality)
  • 2 Cameras on the back to take 3D pics
  • 3D movies availiable (not sure if able to download straight off wi-fi, on PC and load onto DS or streaming)
  • 3D games of course, including Kid Icarus, Professor Layton, DJ Hero, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil 5, Saints Row and Nintendogs (and cats!)
  • Can communicate through wi-fi and locally while closed(dormant) and when games aren't running, for instance nintendogs can communicate whilst in your pocket, even if nintendogs is not on)
  • Features a depth slider to control the depth of the 3d (full to none)
That's all I can remember. Ok, some pics:

Looks pretty good in my opinion, especially the 3D movie stuff. Literally adds another dimension to games. I'm not overly happy with the colours, I'm hoping there will be other colours, which there most certainly will. The 3D PS3 will be released probably, at the sony conference is next up. So what do you think? Hit or Miss?
