Mine was Mattius. My Human character in Star Wars Galaxies. I enjoyed a profitable career as a PvP mercenary until Sony Online Entertainment took a giant shit on the game and...well, I won't beat a dead horse. But I had a blast with that character.

I love my Druid. You don't realise how bloody slow every other class is to mount and dismount until you learn epic flight form. Also the only class with 4 different ways to fill a raid spot - and equally good at all of them if you know what you're doing.

90% of people think they are above average.

Statistically Improbable. Psychologically Inevitable.

All this talk of WoW...I believe I wasted a good amount of months in my life leveling up my Rogue to lvl 80 only to realize that unless you skilled/fitted them a stupidly specific way, they were completely overshadowed by everything else.

Regardless, I won't be playing that game in any way, shape or form due to the rampant mudflation.

My tank, they really made the tanking mechanics with a death knight a lot of fun:

My wife and I have like six level 80s between the two of us. It's sad. I'm a huge wow nerd. Rogue, priest, shaman, death knight, mage and warlock.

Currently Playing:
Warhammer 40k: Dark Eldar - Chaos Daemons - Sisters of Battle
Warmachine/Hordes: Retribution of Scyrah - Circle Orboros
Malifaux: Outcasts - Neverborn - Resurrectionists

My 80 DK is crappily geared. I didn't even know about dps, tank, pvp, and raid gear until I got to 80 and wanted to run through ICC. It pissed me off when people said "your gearscore is too low". It still does. So i've taken a break from it for now, but I will get back to it soon and get him some better gear.

Now as to my fave mmo character, it would have to be Cairne Bloodhoof

My youtube channel. Feel free to stop by and have a look if you're interested. I do Airsoft, some warhammer related videos, and gaming videos.

R.I.P. Uncle Lee. You will be greatly missed by us all. We will see each other again some day.

Despite the current obsession with achievements and GS, skill is still the most important part of playing your class - my Boomkin only has about 4.7k GS, yet puts out 6.6k Single Target DPS with no buffs, because I've read up about everything from stats to rotations and I apply it in-game. I'm frequently top or top 3 DPS even in 25 mans over people with 5-point-something thousand GS who don't have a clue what they're doing.

Admittedly, that doesn't really help with PUGs, who tend to just say "link achieve 11/12 and 5.2 GS" and ignore you if you try to actually explain anything to them. But you're probably better off in a guild anyway.

I have a soft spot for all my MMO characters, but my favourites were:

Gatsu - the only full time Master Ranger in star wars galaxies ever

Chamber - My pyromaniacal PVP mage, refusing to go frost spec in the face of overwhelming evidence that it was far superior (also explorer par excellance long before you got acheivements for that kind of malarkey)

Ritual - The incredible tank bear & gear hoarder

and finally Grogstock (who has followed me through several games) - my drunken roleplay dwarf, who is massively prejudicial against magic users.

It's interesting to see how many people put you on the ignore list when you chase a druid around orgrimmar, shouting at the guards to attack the cat lady.
