Last I remember hearing, Too Human was scheduled as a trilogy but because due to the problems the first game fell into, things didn't turn out so well. I mean, they lost around 13% of their employees because of the first one.

My guess is because of the problems suffered by the first Too Human and what came of that, we will not be seeing the full trilogy.

Yeah, I know they took a massive hit after the first one. But then again that’s what you get for shitty marketing.. But I was always hoping we would get to see the sequel. I think if they worked out the bugs, get some decent marketing and launch it as a multi-system title they could generate a sizable profit. It really was a good game. But Ehh.... I guess I will just have to hope. lol

Keep in mind that though the marketing and limited system use hurt them, it was the game engine problem that did the most damage. If I'm remembering right, the game was supposed to use the unreal 3 engine but they either never got a complete version or were not given what they asked for. The creators had to push forward, so they altered the engine with something they had worked with before, but not necessarily what they had wanted for the game.

I know when I played the game, on top of having far to few levels that were far to long, the gameplay just felt far to awkward.

Yahtzee of Zero Punctuation summed up some of the major problems with the game fairly well, though don't take my word for it: Review of Too Human

I suppose. I never really had any problem with the controls or the gameplay. I also believe that they ran into some legal troubles surrounding the game engine didn't they?

Yes, the sued epic for not upholding their agreement in regards to the unreal engine because they couldn't work with what they were given and had to alter so much.

In return, they were counter sued because they didn't pay for what they were given, and decided to take the engine, alter it, and work with that because one of the heads decided to interperet some of the legal stuff in a way that allowed them to make changes to the engine, call it their own, and bypass paying.

Hmm..... Well in any case the trilogy deserves a second chance... Hope they get it.

You want to make a bitching thread about the game go right ahead but I would rather just keep this for info about a sequel.
