To be honest, I'm kinda scared of it.
I played Final Fantasy 7 in my youth, and that is one of the greatest experiences I've ever had.

And I don't want to play any more of the FF series, because I'm scared that it will be not as good as I remember 7 being - and you know how nostalgia has the rose tinted glasses and all that...

Plus, I heard it wasn't too great.

On the subject of Rat Ogres:
But if we give them laser eyes and mounted guns, we'll have to bring in Clan Skryre, and everyone knows how much those limp-tailed snuff addicts overcharge.

I enjoy 13 quite a bit myself, don't quite get the negativity towards the cutscenes, there part of the story telling, if you want a game with no storyline go play some shitty car game or something

The cutscenes are all right, just too many of them for my liking. From what i've played it's got a decent storyline top it. Like someone said it's way too linear. I prefer the old style FFs where you could walk around on the world map.

Anyone else thouight that the change to disk too came way too early, or rather it didn't take long to get onto the second disk.

Quisnam praesumo, successio

The main problem i have with ff13 is that

A. the partymembers are veeeeeeeery cliche and stereotypical. Lighting is just the same as cloud and squall (both related with wind and air, same as the lighting), in being a gruff and agressive person, that warms up over time. Her weapon is also a evolution from the ff7 blade. from massive blade, to massive blade with a inbuild gun, to a foldable massive blade with inbuild machine gun. Yay.

(i ranted on my blog about this before, so i am just gonna copypaste it in a spoiler, seeing as its a long long post =P)
