i want to buy dawn of war 2 but i need some info. i know that the game is "Steam powered" and thus was wondering if steam is required to play dow2 and what role steam has with the games performance and updating.

Steam is required to play the game but otherwise has little impact on its playing.

There is no such thing as fiction. Given that the multiple-universe quantum theory is correct then all events that happen in ´´fiction´´ actually happen in some other universe.
