The 360 has far and away the better controller and better selection of games.
The PS3 has better online capabilities and a blu-ray player.

PS3 had a bit of a epic fail today. Due to a problem with the clocks all PS3 (not slims) have had there clocks change to jan 1 2000 meaning you cant get online.

Not sure about PS3 having better online. I have both and I would gladly play £30 a year to have the PSN be like Xbox live. PSN is a mess I think.

This is probably the stupidiest comment i have every read!

1) The 360s online community is huge.

2) Yes you have to pay 5 whole pounds a month to play online (or about 30 for the whole year if you pay all at once). But so what? It's 2010, if you havent got 5 you must be a tramp.

However as they say you get what you pay for, if you use the PS3 free online service, you will soon work out why its free.

I have to agree. I have a few games that I own on both Xbox and PS3 and I find it alot easy to find games on my xbox360. The PS3 online SF community does not even exist.
The Xbox is much better I find for online gamers. Really complaining about £5 a month, £5 is nothing.

I am a student at UCLan...however theres a magical thing called 'getting a job'. Although people that have no work ethic and live off tins of beans wont know about that.

Anyway, since when has 5 a month been expensive, when we all play GW!!!???

Ok, it could just be the fact that I am doing a post grad and have just enough time to play an hour or too on xbox live every other day!
