Default Modern Warfare 2

Played it today and had a great time, some nice new features, whilst most of my friends have gone mad over it. Getting it on friday and was wondering what everyone else thinks. Generally the reviews have been in the awesome category so im asking you three questions

What do you think of the game overall?
What do you like most about the new features?
Is their anything you dont like?

Also a little tip for anyone who hasnt bought it but wants it on the cheap
Sainsburies and amazon have got it for about 26 quid on the ps3 for this week only so hurry down and buy it if you haven't already.

kudos to lillian thorne for the awesome sig

It's about the same length as an action movie, too.
Crippled multiplayer and a single player campaign that lasts all of 5 hours, from what I hear.
Not worth the effort.

I think its really good. Much better than COD4. There are only a few things I would change.
The most important is the spawn system it is rubbish I have no idea how it get through testing. It needs to be changed massively. In one FFA I got spawned three times in front of a sentry gun. The amounts of time people who spawn right infront of me and i would just knife them before they even knew what was going on.

Second they need to bring back party chat it is damn annoying not having it.

And lastly where the hell is cage matches and team tactical. I loved playing Team tactical on COD4 it was the only game mode I really played or S&D.

The single player had some nice WTF!!! moments if you didn't have it spoiled for you and most of the annoying endless respawning that the first suffered from is gone. Co-op seems tight from the few runs I've made with a buddy, but I have't done too many of the scenarios. Multiplayer remains the main reason to get this, seems even better then the first game and I'm sure I'll be playing it into next year. The ramped up killstreaks are nicer then they look on paper and the increased custumization is wonderful. The implemintation of host migration is a god send.

Of course if you're a hard core PC gameer there are some problems which Worlokked seemed to be hinting at, but then again, if you are a hard core PC gamer you know about them already.

That said I had a few gripes about the plot.

Spoilers Ahead, don't read any further if you haven't played the game yet.

I thought that there would be blast waves in space, only that they wouldn't blow anything up only push it away?

A bit meh in my opinion. How many times can you run around pretending to shoot people without getting bored out of your skull?

No, the a blast wave is a wave and thus must travel through a medium. Space doesn't have anything to transmit a wave. Even if it did the fact that the lowest point of orbit of the ISS is 200 miles above the surface of the Earth means a blast at the highest point for the EMP to have an effect on the ground directly under the ISS would leave the explosion much too far away to effect the ISS and the explosion isn't even under the ISS, but a fourth of a continent away.
