Pretty cool, though it just looks like it's gonna suffer from the Farcry syndrome for a couple of years before people are playing any less than slideshows.

Besides, all the graphics in the world can't change the fact that Doom and Doom 2 were more entertaining than most of what's been released in the last 10 years. ;)

You haven't seen the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 trailers then

About this game, it looks kool with the graphics but like I dont see any people graphics, nothing that makes me wanna look more into the game or even buy.
All I see are like 4 floating rocks that make a tiny city, not very interesting

im pretty sure its not a game but a demonstration of DX11. i am impressed, the grass looks like grass and watching it sway with the breeze is spectacular, its truly impressive how the graphics have advanced from the days of mario and doom.

The graphics engine is spectacular. Imagine a 40k game with that much detail...... can i get a realistic WAAAAGGGH?

Aerith/Aeris Gainsborough: “The current system of servitude is barbaric and inadequate for today's generation. We appeal to the leaders of both the Imperium and the Coalition of Hateful Assholes and Organised Sin to seek to change this for the betterment of all its citizens”

Lorgar: “Guess there was one plot thread we forgot to erase ...” Mortarion nods in agreement, while Ahriman looks on suspiciously.

Aerith/Aeris Gainsborough: “We feel trapped, we feel oppressed. And we urge our governments to release us from these metal boxes-”

Lorgar: “Oh shi-”

Firraveus Carron: Leaping to his feet. “METAL BOXES?!?METAL BOXES!!!THEY RIDE IN METAL BOXES!!!”

The one thing more jaw dropping then that will be the system specs to run games like that. Crysis all over again.

I've seen them. It looks like MW with more shades of brown. No amount of graphical improvements can change the fact that they're releasing half a game, though. And you people will all lap it up.

Oh, and on the PC? Don't expect to be able to play with your friends easily or to play competetively, what with there being no server browser or mod compatibility. Two new maps? That'll be £5. Now. And no dedicated servers? The fuck are WoWCorp trying to pull?

Tbh, I couldn't care too much about Modern Warfare, or Modern Warfare 2 - I get them free in any case. However, the thread couldn't care too much about it. Take the discussion about MW2 to the relevant thread.

This is about the possibilities of what DX11 allows software to develop into. The Unigine site even says that a Russian University would use it for developing a Space Program, and that it's part of a high class Architectural Piece of Software.

Right now, I'm imagining something along the lines of what Dragon Age, Oblivion, perhaps a Warhammer Fantasy RPG, or even an RTS could be like with this.
