The first game I ever played was (please don't laugh) Tonka Construction. I was only 3, mind, so it can't be helped.

ooooh, most probably one of the first three pokemon games on the 1st GBCs, which i played round a mates house. The first console i owned myself was the PS1, with good old Rayman and Crash Bandicoot ...ah they were they good old days...

The first game i really got into however, was undoubtably Doom 2! the best platform game of the best series ever!

For me it was PONG. And on the original console they made for it which only played PONG.

Oh yeah baby, graphics from hell. And at the time they WERE. I remember myself and everyone I knew were just blown away by this.

one thing I want is the ability to split my fire everywhere, it makes no sense that a squad of 10 guard or marines or whatever all have to fire at 1 target with everything, is the guy with the lascannon not smart enough to realize maybe he would be better off firing at the massive tank looming overhead instead of the little man no bigger than a squat running at him, or is that far too complex for the 10yr olds?

My first game was, I believe, Golden Axe for the Sega Genesis when I was 4. either that or some Dungeons and Dragons game for the Genesis. I was destined to be a nerd from the outset.

Aerith/Aeris Gainsborough: “The current system of servitude is barbaric and inadequate for today's generation. We appeal to the leaders of both the Imperium and the Coalition of Hateful Assholes and Organised Sin to seek to change this for the betterment of all its citizens”

Lorgar: “Guess there was one plot thread we forgot to erase ...” Mortarion nods in agreement, while Ahriman looks on suspiciously.

Aerith/Aeris Gainsborough: “We feel trapped, we feel oppressed. And we urge our governments to release us from these metal boxes-”

Lorgar: “Oh shi-”

Firraveus Carron: Leaping to his feet. “METAL BOXES?!?METAL BOXES!!!THEY RIDE IN METAL BOXES!!!”

First ever videogame was Yoda's Challenge or Yoda's Learning? But it was made by Lucas Arts for kids....

then the first serious game was Rogue Squadron on an old Compaq up in my attic then my first RTS was Force Commander.

This is Sierra-259, you got Spartans on the ground sir. We're not going anywhere."
